There’s a new Uniqlo store in Milan, located in Piazza Gae Aulenti. I love to shop at Uniqlo so I HAD TO check it out. I previously took a look at the website and there were a few things I was curious to try and once there I tried some other stuff. I have to say that if you look for medium quality basic clothing and you don’t have a huge budget, Uniqlo is the answer. I usually buy plain white T-shirts, they have been my must-have for years now (I wear a S, men’s size, which gives me the perfectly oversized fit). So here’s my wishlist for the warm Season!
First impression of the store: HOW SMALL. But there’s a trick: you go downstairs and there it is, the real store. Despite the fact that I went there on a Saturday, it was less crowded than the one in Cordusio, and this is super positive for me. It’s a little bit smaller but they have everything.
I saw this pleated set (top + pants) online and I wanted to try it but it doesn’t fit me the way I imagined in my mind (maybe it’s the top’s length 🤔). Anyway I think it’s a nice-to-have in the wardrobe, worn both in a casual and in an elegant way.
How I’d wear it
There is another piece I saw online and I have to say that I’ll 100% buy it before Summer. The dress has a bra in the top so you have the right support but you can be comfortable without wearing a real bra. Genius. Plus the color is perfection.
How I’d wear it
I saw this nice polo shirt in the men’s department and wanted to try it. Very cute and fits nicely. If you’re tired of wearing t-shirts and you want something different, this is it. I paired it with the maxi denim skirt, which I don’t need but if you’re looking for one, this has a nice fit.
Lastly, I picked up these jeans last minute and it was the best decision ever (I ended up buying them). They are lightweight so you can easily wear them in Summer and they fit perfectly. I paired them with this cotton sweater and I loved it (I bought the sweater, too).
These shorts were on my radar but I couldn’t find them in store 😢 These bermuda seem really nice, too. Are boxer shorts still in for this year? I hope so.
