Hello there! Sorry for disappearing but it’s been the busiest period of my life. I have a new job and had to go back working at the office (I was in full smart working before) so I didn’t really have time for the newsletter.
But here I am, back to business.
My last post was about leopard pants and my obsession for this print got slightly out of control since then, meaning: I WANT TO BUY EVERYTHING LEOPARD.
I won’t investigate the reasons behind this obsession (maybe it’s because I see leopard everywhere?) and I will simply show you what I bought and what I’d like to buy.
THE pants
As you know from previous newsletter, I bought the Ganni Leopard Jeans and I have to say: best money spent ever. Super comfortable, flattering and when I feel a little basic I just wear them and the outfit immediately changes. I still haven’t found a cheaper alternative because I never like the print on the other models. I don’t know how to explain it but I recognise immediately if a leopard print is a good or a bad one.
Recently I’ve seen on TikTok that Amazon’s leopard pants went viral. I find them really ugly honestly, so I’m sorry if you bought them just because they are super cheap. What are the alternatives then? There aren’t. I’ve tried to find them but I failed. If you don’t have the budget to buy the Ganni ones I suggest to look on Vinted/Vestiaire Collective, you may find them at a reasonable price. If you don’t like the bootcut, you can opt for this model.
What I bought
Recently I bought a number of items on Vinted (I’ll do a post about them maybe, can’t promise anything) and among them there was a cute leopard vest: as cute as useless, I’d say.
But I thought that it will be perfect in Spring layered with a long sleeve, a shirt or a hoodie, a simple denim and ballet flats or sneakers. A very cute alternative here.
What I want to buy
I think I’m only at the beginning of this obsession because there are a lot of other leopard items I’d buy.
Trench: I’ve been thinking about it since I saw this girl wearing a leopard trench coat on TikTok, hers was from Sandro (found on Vinted but too expensive in my opinion). I really like the idea of owning a leopard trench but I don’t know how many times I would wear it. It’s already really difficult to wear a normal trench nowadays (because the weather is either too cold or too warm) so I think I’m going to skip on this one. But I found some options in case you’re interested.
Blouse: as for the pants, a leopard blouse can really make the difference in an outfit. It can elevate it, make it funnier and help you when you don’t know what to wear. Of course Ganni has always the answer: this cute top is everything. I’m not even trying to find an alternative here, there are a lot of replicas so I’m sure you’ll stumble across one someday.
Flats/Mary Jane: I’m definitely in my “flats era” and there’s nothing you can do to change my mind. So why I shouldn’t own a pair of leopard flats?? I’m obsessed with the ones with a strap, that look like mary janes: here my favourites.
Bag: imagine a total black, very basic outfit. Then add a leopard mini bag. It becomes immediately more interesting, right? But, with a leopard tote bag it would look a little Millenial/Tumblr/I’m really trying to be cool but I’m failing, so always opt for something small and with an interesting shape. Here some ideas.
Bonus bag: this one from Damson Madder
Sneakers: not any leopard sneakers but the collaboration between Adidas and Wales Bonner. These Sambas live in my mind rent free and I regret so much not buying them when they came out. Now the price is craaaaazy and unless I find them at less then 200 euros I think I’m going to pass. Sadly.

I think I’ve talked about leopard enough. That’s all for today and I hope to be more present with my newsletter from now on 💌
