Leopard pants and how to wear them

This year’s hottest trend will be leopard print. There, I declare it. You can take a walk on the streets and spot a lot of leopard fake fur coats and A LOT of leopard pants...

…this print is starting to become a staple to have in the closet.

It may seem scary to add a leopard printed item to your daily routine because we’ve always associated it with excess and bad taste. But, wearing something leopard can really add a nice touch to a basic outfit. I recently bought the Ganni leopard jeans: they have a really nice fit so I thought it would be nice to have something unusual and find many ways to wear it.

So here we are with my personal guide on how to wear leopard pants!

Look 1

My favorite. A cable knit cardigan (mine is vintage but I found something similar), Ganni T-shirt (but any t-shirt is fine) and red Adidas Gazelle. 

Look 2

The simplest. My favorite pullover from Uniqlo (now discounted) and my favorite loafers (which were gifted by Flattered, really the best way to spend your money). Make sure to add white socks for a fun touch.

Look 3

I have a thing for red+leopard. A simple pullover (mine is Benetton second hand but here a nice alternative), you can wear a white shirt to add a layer and complete the look with Adidas Samba to make it less serious. 

Look 4

Another simple look. A black turtleneck pullover and my beloved Ganni flats. I really love them, especially paired with red socks.

Look 5

A classic. A black oversized blazer and a graphic t-shirt (mine from Aries). I just bought these fancy shoes at the Miista sample sale so I can’t find them but I’d wear these ones too.
